ENGLISH Impact of the weather on fizzy water: +12% !

 

The first warm weather of the year is forecast for the week of April 25 with 2°C higher than normal for this time of year (in average temperatures). The national impact as predicted by the METEOECO® indices created by METNEXT and AC NIELSEN is considerable:

  • +12% for sales of fizzy water, and up to +15% in the south.
  • +10% for sales of still water, +11% for still drinks, and +6% for sausage sales.

Weather impact on soup sales: Soups +24% !

 

The cold period that we suffered this winter has had a strong impact on consumer behavior.

The "METEOECO France Soups" index for the second week of January is up 24%.

For this week, the average temperatures across France were 5.9°C below average compared to seasonal temperatures.
